Phases of a Fusion Project
There are different phases to every fusion project and certain steps have to be taken at each phases. Certain documents are also maintained at each phase.
1) Gathering Requirement and Analysis:
A call is taken with the business analyst, stakeholders, etc to understand what the business process is. Once the requirements are in place we check the feasibility of the requirements.

Documentation: Requirement Specification document is created. The next phase of the project is based on this document
2) Design: Based on the requirement specification document, the system is designed.
Documentation: Functional Design Document or Technical Design Document is maintained to keep track of the design

3) Implementation: This is the phase where the configuration or development is done on the application. You can make use of functional setup manager(FSM) if you want a complete list of tasks which are inside a module. With the help of FSM you can also assign tasks to different user and check/ update the status of the tasks.
Documentation: Configuration Workbook is maintained which captures the functional implementation performed.

4) Testing:
There are different testing performed once an object is developed.
There are different testing performed once an object is developed.
- Unit Testing: Testing is done by the developer after the object is developed.
- Regression Testing: Regression testing is performed by the QC team to check if all the requirements are being fetched by the developed object.
- User Acceptance Testing: Once sign off is received by the QC team, the users/ business can test the object to check if it as per the requirement given by them.
5) Deployment/ Go Live:
The object is moved to production instance/environment. This is when the actual users start using the application.

6) Maintenance/ Support
Once the object is live on production the support phase starts. Any issues of the user related to the new object moved is taken care in this phase of the project.

This is a typical life-cycle followed by objects of fusion.
