Adding New Other Adjustment Reasons to Lookup and Enabling them in Absence Plan

In Absence Management, there could be a requirement to add more other adjustment reasons to accrual plan. This can be done by adding new lookups and enabling those lookups in the accrual plan.

In Setup and Maintenance, search for Manage Common Lookups

In Lookup Type search for ANC_ABS_PLAN_OTHER_REASONS.

You can see that the customization level is extensible which allows us to add more values to the lookups.

Clerical Error and Compensatory are already available in the lookup type.

We can add our new reasons in the following way:

If you want a particular lookup to be enabled for a specific country then you can add the country code in tag. Example: +AR means lookup BH will be available only for Argentina Country.

When nothing is mentioned in the Tag, the lookup becomes available for all the countries.

Now we have created new lookup values for other adjustment. To enable these lookups for accrual adjustment you need to include them in your absence plan.

Absence plan > Entries and Balances Tab > Other Adjustments > Check the required adjustment reasons

So this is how new other adjustment reasons can be added and enabled in Absence Plan.
