Auto Provision of Roles in Fusion HCM

Roles are auto provisioned so that when a new user is created the user automatically get the required role.
In this example we are auto provisioning custom made employee and manager roles

 Navigation

Login to HR Connect >  Setup and Maintenance > Manage HCM Role Provisioning Rules >
Click on Go to Task > Click on Create button/link on Manage Role Mappings Page

1. Custom Employee Absence Role

• Mapping Name - Custom Employee Absence India

Example: Give a name that is easily identifiable.

• Here I am creating a role for Employee from IN legislation
• From Date – Start Date
• Legal Employer – Enter the Legal Employer Name
• Assignment Type – Employee
• System Person Type – Employee
• HR Assignment Status – Active
• Under the Associated Roles Section, select the role name from the drop down that needs to be auto provisioned.

2. Custom Line Manager Absence

• Mapping Name - Custom Line Manager Absence India
• From Date – Start Date
• Legal Employer – Enter the Legal Employer Name
• Assignment Type – Employee
• System Person Type – Employee
• HR Assignment Status – Active
• Under the Associated Roles Section, select the role name from the drop down that needs to be auto provisioned.

Navigate to Tools > Scheduled Processes.
Click on Schedule New Process and search for process name “Autoprovision roles for all users” and submit it.

Note – Do not give a space with Auto and Provision, it’s a one word Autoprovision.
