Full and Limited Mode in HDL

To check whether your application is in Full Mode or Limited mode, go to Configure HCM Data Loader and check in the parameters for HCM Data Loader Scope.
  • If the scope is set to limited, then the application can support business objects that were not supported by File Based Loading.
  • If the scope is set to full, then the application supports HCM Data Loader is used for all data loading.Once the scope is set to Full, you will not be able to go back to Limited. You will have to continue using HDL. 
So keep this in mind while changing the scope to full.
